Cut an 8cm length of craft wire (this applies to the standard size marker pen I've used here). Shape the wire around the marker until both ends cross over one another.
Using wire cutters, trim around 5mm off the left end of wire.
Take a pair of chain nose pliers and bend that end of wire you just trimmed upwards, just above where they cross over.
Using round nose pliers, twist the wire round creating a loop. Don't complete the loop fully, leave just over a millimetres gap. This leaves space for the other wire to hook in and out under the loop.
Using round nose pliers make a slight bend in the wire going through the loop so it curves upwards just past the loop.
Trim off the excess wire at the end leaving around 3mm sticking out of the loop.
Leave them plain or add beads and charms, you can be really creative with these. The hoops below each have a simple wire wrapped Swarovski charm attached.Never made a wire wrapped charm? Take a look at our illustrated guide here.
