How to knot Stretch Magic Thread

Step 1

Knotting-Stretch-Magic-Step1-BeadsJar Cut a length of Stretch Magic to around 13 inches with a pair of Scissors and begin stringing on your choice of beads.

When you reach your desired length, cross over the two tail ends of thread.

Fold the right side of thread under the left (like the first knot you tie on a shoelace) and pull tight.

Step 4

Repeat step 3 with the threads again creating a double knot.

Step 5

Pull the thread really tight to secure.

Step 6

Trim off the excess threads with a pair of sharp scissors. You can cut it right next to the knot if its really secure or you can leave a millimetre or two excess.

Step 7

Finish off by adding a drop of Fevi Kwick jewellery glue (or other strong jewellery glue) to the knot to give it added durability. Let the glue dry completely before you let go (and watch your fingers, Fevi Kwick behaves very much like super glue!).
