Jewellery Making For Newbies!

Hello!

 

Just a quick one this week to let all you jewellery designers in the making know that i've made a beginners tutorial on how to create a simple beaded necklace. We were all beginners at one point so why not start your jewwllery making journey here? This necklace is super quick to make and covers basic jewellery making skills like stringing beads, using jewellery Pliers and wire cutters as well as securing Crimp Beads onto wire and creating a professional finish with calottes.

Materials you'll need for this project:

 

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • A selection of beads of your choice. The Beads used here are: Fuchsia 6mm Swarovski Crystal Bicones, Metallic Silver 8mm Chinese Crystal Bicones, 8mm Amethyst Round Gemstone Beads)

 

 

 

 

  • Chain nose pliers

 

 

 

  • Wire cutters

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Silver plated 8mm jump rings (If you're using the S-clasp from this tutorial, you will be supplied with 2 x 8mm jump rings)

Thanks for the useful information, this beading process will help me a lot to bead my malas. I have a great collection of <a href="https://www.rudrakshabeads.org/ebony-wood-beads">gemstone beads</a> and this learning process helped me a lot.
