Colour Trend! Pantone Iced Coffee

Every year the world's leading Colour trend forecaster Pantone releases a colour palette for the year. They have said of this years palette..." Vivid brights give way to excitement and optimism, though quiet stability prevails in this season’s palette....Colours this season transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves."

Pantone have chosen a unisex palette this year and have gravitated toward a palette that is first and foremost calming, with a choice of contrasting playful, "happy" colours. Designers were influenced by the world of art and wanted to create a collection of colours designed to help us relax, unwind and escape from the world of technology that seems to be taking over more and more as time goes on. 

Personally, I think they've done an amazing job at doing just that. This is definitely one of my favourite colour palettes to come from Pantone....it makes me think of lying on a comfy sofa in some glass house in the forest with a cup of coffee and a pile of books...or maybe beads...or both.  The top ten colours they have chosen are Rose Quartz, Peach Echo, Serenity, Snorkel Blue, Buttercup, Limpet Shell, Fiesta,  Green Flash and Iced Coffee.

Today I've picked out the beautiful soft neutral Shade Iced Coffee. It's got a natural earthy feel to it which will take you through the seasons and it combines beautifully with the other Shades in the palette. What's more, we've got lots of goodies that match this gorgeous hue including Miyuki seed beads, sparkling Swarovski crystals, ceramic beads, gemstone pendants and soft suede tassels.
