Seed Beads for Newbies!

Morning everyone!

So i wrote a little guide to Seed beads this week for anyone who might be interested in giving seed beading a go (you really should...it's awesome!). If you're just starting out, choosing what to buy can be a bit of a minefield. Which seed beads do you buy? Which brand? What size? Our guide will give you a quick introduction to the different seed beads available on the market at the moment, the qualities of some of the more popular brands, and a little bit about the different finishes. It also includes two handy size charts so you're not getting in a pickle over the universally baffling seed bead measurements!

It also touches on the different beading threads available for use with seed beads and their properties. We've got some pretty super new beading threads in stock like Fireline and the amazingly strong Spiderwire. These threads are perfect for working with some of the sharper edged seed beads which can end up cutting into traditional beading threads such as Nymo.
