Easter.

It's a word drives fear into the Heart of any parent, as their children slowly demolish their small mountain of chocolate eggs, bunnies, chickens and other Easter shaped treats. Soon children around the country will be bouncing of the walls and screeching until they finally crash out, with hundreds of wrappers, ribbons and plastic eggs surrounding them.

But for many adults who aren’t enticed by the chocolate and confections of the day we have some more meaningful alternatives for some Easter projects then a quick chomp of chocolate.

Liberty of London Ribbon

So out of the starting gates we have some of our popular ribbon from Liberty of London, in some beautiful spring time colours. The first is our “Mitsu C” design, a colourful and vibrant spring time ribbons adorned with White daisies, with a deep forest Green background with Blue accents.  Matching this ribbon with some simple Silver embellishments, such as silver stopper beads or a small charm, would give a fresh and clean look to your creations.

For those, perhaps looking simpler, but still with some colour,  the “Ann A Violet” design is perfect, with the design focusing on the main Violet Flower, with complimentary muted greens, yellows and pinks for that added colour. You can easily match this ribbon to Seed beads of various colours, if matching we have some pastel pinks, greens and yellows to match the colours, or you can try Clear or silver lined ones to prevent clashing etc.

One of the most popular crystals available at Beads Jar, Swarovski Crystals are known for their perfectly smooth surface, their uniformed shape and pearlescent colourations – perfected for that elegant and expensive look.  

The ones we have selected for this blog are some typically “Easter” themed colours of pastel pinks, yellows, blues with some more metallic silvers and golds (imitating the silver/gold wrapping of the chocolate) Match these items with simple threads such as Fireline or Nozue for some softened and delicate creations, for mixed with other materials for some new colour patterns, shapes, materials and even tailored to your own fit.

Cut straight from hard rock candies found at every seaside shop around the UK, we have some sweet inspired beads for the even the sweetest toothed of creators.
