Welcome back to part two of this Christmas Blog, with this part looking into ideas that you can create for your family members! This will look at some of popular YouTube tutorials, some ideas from the Beads Jar team and some last minute stocking fillers for all the family! So I hope your still warm in your seat, and your drink is refilled, as here comes part two!
For those looking for, perhaps a more Christmas inspirited design I come with them in buckets! We have an amazing YouTube tutorial from our very own Emma who created these amazing twinkly snowflake earrings, which look amazing in Gold and Purple – giving a regal and expensive feel to them. If you want to, you can adapt these easily with other colours and metals if you want a even more frosty inspired look – for example, instead of the golden Miyuki seed beads, you can exchange for blues, turquoises, whites or even greens and red for a festive and holiday inspired feel! Speaking of other YouTube videos for your Christmas inspired creations, we have one designed by our customer service representative (who many of you may know her voice on the phone!) Sarah. Aptly named “Sarah's Bracelet”, it is made using the Czech O Beads, creates this wonderful mix of delicate designs but also a sci-fi feel with the metallic O Beads and shining silver findings. The quality of the beads and the findings are second to none – they are strong and durable, scratch and abrasion resistant and will ensure that this futuristic and icy bracelet will last the years to come! I would recommend this for beginner beaders, as it's simple but striking design will ensure I high quality product with just a little know-how.
We have, newly available at Beads Jar, a range of festive Christmas pendants and charms in Sterling silver and rose gold that will satisfy even the coldest of hearts! One of my personal favourites is the Sterling Silver Reindeer, complete with enamelled red nose, ears and eyes to create this sweet and cutesy charm – perfect for Bracelets, necklaces or even turning into keyrings! We have some rose-gold charms also available, warmer in colour compared to the icy silver and gold, for that added splash of colour – matching to a rose-gold chain or even to pastel Pink or white beads could make an interesting mix of materials, textures and tones. For those maybe instead looking for beaded trinkets or treasures, don't worry I've got you covered. We have an amazing beaded star design turned bauble for that extra special shine and glamour to any Christmas tree. Created from a variety of TOHO round seed beads and Swarovski's Bicones, this star bauble has a beautiful lustre and texture, reflecting lots of life from its surface, perfect for those Multi-coloured (or plain, I don't judge) Christmas lights radiating the warm glow and deep colours of the TOHOs and Swarovski's. This design can be easily to suit your need – instead of golds and silvers, why not purples and pinks for ladies and blue hues for the gents? The options are endless!
We even have a delicate and elegant angel keychain, also created by our ever so resourceful Billie, in sterling silver – a great token to a friend, neighbour or acquaintance for the Christmas period. This stunning petit angel, has additional purple highlighted beads threaded through for that extra pop of colour which goes well with the steely silver. For last minute Gift ideas we also have a huge selection seed bead kits, pre-made necklaces and various other pieces for children and adults alike! Starting at the beginning, we have some stunning 18 carat plated pendants, in white gold, rose gold and platinum, in some intricate and details designs such handbags, roses and even an adorable little elephant (although not Christmassy it's so endearing they couldn't say no!).
