Christmas is Coming Part 1

We can hear the distant sound of sleigh bells and its got our creative juices flowing. We’ve come up with some simple design ideas to get you started for the festive season. We’ve also added new products and created new kits for you to make at home on the run up to Christmas.

These candy cane earrings are easy to make, using head-pins and ear-wires To get started thread your choice of seed bead (we’ve chosen size 8/0 Miyuki rocailles in Silver lined red and crystal for the red and White stripe effect) on to a flat head pin (3inch). To make this easier we have thread the ear-wire 6 beads from the end to save you opening and closing in Situe (see images for details) Close the head pin using your round nose Pliers for a flawless finish.

We’ve been making some ready made jewellery designs to get you in the festive mood, great for gifting or for a treat for yourself - its Christmas and you do deserve it after all. These Bracelets are made using Liberty of London Ribbon decorated with Sterling Silver charms (leaping Rudolph, red nose reindeer, gingerbread man and snowflake) sterling silver cubic zirconia charms and secured with a rubber lined bead. We sell all our finished jewellery in organza gift bags.

These cute Christmas tree ribbon decorations are easy to make with very few ingredients. These designs use red Satin Ribbon and Green organza ribbon paired with green acrylic Pearl Beads and crystal Glass Beads, threaded through with a silver head pin. They include a small glass Cube bead acting as a tree pot and a little acrylic star bead as a tree topper. These designs are great to make with the kids and look brilliant on the tree!
