Beginners Guide to Swarovski Hotfix

Embellishments can add a pop of Colour and character to any article of clothing, postcard, or any other item that you desire. Creating patterns on pants, embellishing a school notebook, or creating your own greeting card does not have to be difficult, or even messy. So how can you use Swarovski Hotfix to help express your creative side through embellishments?

Lay out your pattern. There are so many different Shapes, colours, and patterns to choose from with Swarovski. Lay out the pattern that you think you want before you commit to the finished product. Create the pattern, shape, or design you want first.

Heat up the crystals. Swarovski is great because there is glue already built with the crystal. Each one already has glue that just needs to be activated. Heating up the crystals activates the glue, which will allow you to place the crystal wherever you want it, and cause it to stick in place.

Stick. You already have your crystals laid out in the pattern that you want them. Once you have heated the crystal and activated the glue, stick them in that same place you decided would be best.

Easy! The hardest part about using Swarovski Hotfix is determining what colour and shape crystals you want to buy first! A great thing to do is create things that can be easily discarded if you don’t like it while you are perfecting your ability to embellish. For instance, using index cards that can be glued onto a notebook first might be better than going straight for pants pockets on your first try with this product.
